Bovine Tracheal Cartilage
An all Australian Product manufactured in a GMP facility by an AQIS registerd company that has an ongoing research commitment and strong associations with the CSIRO and the Universtity of NSW.
PKBTC is a natural combination of Glycosaminoglycans(GAGs) including Chondroitin Sulphate, Glucosomne Sulphate, Hyaluronic Acid, Dermatan, Keratin and Heparin. These are the beneficial prosteoglandins in their own right, however, our experience is that they work synergistically best when in their natural balance. PKBTC also contains Collagen Type 2 which in itself is recognised for its efficiency in treating ARTHRITIS. The product is BSE free and does not contain any GAG additives and is alsohol and hormone free.

Cherry Powder
Organic cherries are used to produce this powder. Cherries contain anthrocyanins which give cherries the rich red colour, these belong to a groupof phenolic compounds called flavenoids. Of the 150 different flavenoids found in plants,anthrocyanins appear to have the greatest anti oxident capacity(Elliot 1992)
Research conducted at Michegan state University found that tart cherries, contained the highest concentrate of anthrocyanins 1 and 2
which help block enzmyes in the body called cycloxygenase (known as COX1 and COX2) (Seeram and Morin et al.2001)
Some pain medicationworks by inhibiting COX 1 and COX 2 which may explain why some people find that tart cherries help the pain of arthritis.
